eSoles leaving imprint on PGA Tour
Golf shoes are an integral part of every golfer’s equipment and ensuring the right fit has up until now been somewhat of a gamble. eSoles® Custom Footbeds are leading the way in ensuring comfort and optimizing performance and consistency in the golf swing. What sets eSoles apart from other orthotic manufacturing companies is their 3D TruCapture® imaging process where a 3D image of your foot is taken with your foot supended on an air pillow. This image is then emailed to eSoles’ state of the art manufacturing facility in Scottsdale Arizona and your ePro Custom Footbeds arrive in the mail in 5 to 7 days.
"During eSoles relative short existence we have made great strides with our products and technology, being well received in the footwear industry.
Companies like FootJoy in the golf industry understand the importance and benefits of eSoles and have recently asked us to provide eSoles options to several FootJoy shoe wearers on the PGA Tour,” said Shiel Costello of eSoles
Tour Pros using eSoles custom footbed previous to the FootJoy relationship include Mark Hensby, Mark Calcavecchia and Ian Poulter. Look for this number to increase significantly in the coming weeks as eSoles will be scanning more players at The Frys.com Open in Scottsdale, the week of Oct 20th.
eSoles recently launched their new self service kiosk scanning system to be deployed in retail stores across the country later this year and internationally in 2009. This system adds another product the eFit Semi Custom Footbed to the company’s ePro Custom Footbed. The eFit is truly state of the art technology when it comes to footbeds. The eFit Semi Custom Footbed is a system of modular components that fit together as a result of going through the kiosk scanning system. The kiosk system takes a 2D and a 3D image of your foot and compares both images to the algorithms set up by eSoles 30,000 plus footscans. The kiosk then provides the customer with a build sheet of components that are assembled on site for your particular type of foot. The entire process takes less than six minutes.
The eFit product like the ePro will be available for different activities and sports and will have a retail price of $69.99.
